The pacific connection Adi vs. Pat Allied side

Questo post è off limit per il Gen. Patton.

Mi rifaccio a un mio precedente post dove chiedevo se si potva instaurare un AAR direttamente sul forum.
Dato che al momento non sono riuscito ad iniziare la simulazione dall'inizio, in accordo con il Gen. Patton, postiamo un AAR già iniziato.

In pratica è come se iniziassimo lo scenario 12 che va da Maggio 42 a Genn. 46. Siamo in questo periodo. L' unica differenza è che per una disattenzione del mio avversario le truppe sovietiche sono attive.

Entro oggi posterò un sunto degli avvenimenti più salienti accaduti nel periodo che va dal 7 Dic.41 fino a Maggio 42.
Naturalmente tutti i consigli che potrò avere dalla comunità di Netwargamingitalia saranno ben accetti.

Fronte Cinese:

Quà all'inizio del gioco ho messo in difficoltà i Jap. Fino ad ora nessuna conquista per loro. Tutte le vie di comunicazione, guardando la "ZOC" (zona di controllo per chi non lo sapesse) sono controllate dai miei cinesini.
Purtroppo stò avendo problemi con i rifornimenti dalle indie a causa del controllo Jap sul territorio. Al momento sto cercando di rifornire i cinesi con ponti aerei. Tutte le maggiori città hanno fortificazioni alte.

Fronte Russo:

Gli scontri aerei che ho avuto con i Jap sono stati sanguinosissimi da ambo le parti, siamo nell'ordine di centinaia di aerei abbattuti.
Al momento i 3/4 delle mie forze aeree non possono alzarsi in volo per i bombardamenti a tappeto che Patton effettua sui miei maggiori aereoporti. Devo risolvere il problema.
Il fatto è che al momento mi è difficile rifornire di caccia il territorio russo.
Per quanto riguarda le forze di terra, dopo un paio di assaggi, posso ritenere che ho un valido supporto difensivo. Quasi tutte le divisioni russe sono meccanizzate e con alti valori di combattimento e i perimetri difensivi sono quasi tutti con guadi d'acqua.
Sto aspettando l'attaco via terra dei Jap.

Indie inglesi:

I miei bombardieri effettuano incursioni giornalieri sul territorio di Burma e mi sto preparando ad effettuare qualche incursione via terra. A questo proposito stanno arrivando via mare un paio di divisioni australiane per svolgere il compito.

Per quanto riguarda gli altri territori, a esclusione dell'Australia, e degli atolli nel Pacifico è tutto Jap.

Adesso arriviamo alle note dolenti.

Nel prossimo dispaccio, dopo aver fatto il turno che mi spedirà il Gen: Patton, posterò con grafici allegati ciò che l'alto comando alleato ha deciso per fronteggiare l'avanzata gialla.

 

Innanzitutto un "bravi!" ad Adi e Patton per l'idea dell'AAR. Io credo che Adi sia messo molto bene e che non abbia di che lamentarsi, anche come portaerei, 4 vs 2 non è proprio malvagio tenuto conto che le portaerei americane "ritornano" mentre quelle giapponesi no. Inoltre, l'apertura del fronte russo è uno svantaggio a dir poco mostruoso per il giocatore giapponese IMHO.

Per Darksky: io ho due PBEM in piedi a WITP. Uno contro di te e un 2x2 in cui gestisco poca roba (DEI e Cina), Patton il resto.
In Cina IMHO se il giocatore si muove velocemente e in forze senza commettere errori stupidi non vedo facile per l'alleato una difesa efficace. Beninteso, io considero un successo per il giocatore giapponese riuscire a fare meglio di quello che hanno fatto Tojo&C nella realtà, quindi conquistare la linea ferroviaria è già un successo IMHO.
Contro di te, ho perso oltre due mesi per la conquista di Changasha perché le tue unità erano accerchiate. Ho fatto punti nell'immediato ma ho bloccato l'avanzata delle mie armate per un'eternità e questa mossa la considero un errore strategico grave (oltretutto i cinesi ritornano dopo 90 giorni ).
Purtroppo all'epoca ero piuttosto inesperto sul combattimento terrestre di WITP
Nell'altro PBEM (siamo a fine feb. 42), non ho commesso questo errore e tutto il nord della Cina è nelle mani jap (mi manca solo Sian).
A inizio gioco, correggimi se sbaglio, le unità cinesi partono in buona parte disabilitate. Ne hai milioni , ma non sono paragonabili alle altre unità alleate in termini di efficacia nel combattimento.
Se gli dai tempo per fare esperienza e arroccarsi in centri pieni di supply allora il discorso cambia.

Settore Cinese:

Come si vede, quasi tutte le vie di comunicazione sono sotto controllo alleato.
I rifornimenti cinesi però scarseggiano e le mie truppe sono mal messe. A questo riguardo sto cercando di far arrivare rifornimenti con ponti aerei.

 

Certo che l' immagine allegata fa schifo. Vedrò di provvedere. Con le scuse verso i frequentatori del forum.

 

Spero che questa volta il file sia visibile.

Come si vede dall'immagine le vie di collegamento sono sotto la ZOC alleata.
All'inizio della guerra ho trasferito lo squadrone didegli AVG in Cina e i poveri Nate Jap hanno pianto. La supremazia aerea mi ha aiutato ad arrocarmi in difesa nelle principali città. Avevo anche pensato di trasferire un paio di squadriglie di bombardieri quadrimotore, ma poi ci ho ripensato, avrebbero prosciugato le già magre vettovaglie.
In pratica è dall'inizio del confronto che giornalmente bombardo via terra le truppe Jap con discreti risultati. Anche fino a 1200 perdite. Nel Nord della Cina due o tre brigate mongole sono state respinte dalle mie truppe. Ora però la mancanza di rifornimenti si fà sentire.

Lo sbarco fatto dai Jap per la conquista di Petropavlosk in corso da diversi giorni ancora non ha dato i suoi frutti. Quà i russi si difendono alla grande.
Tutto merito dei rifornimenti ancora di colore bianco, ma non durerà a lungo. Non sono in grado di rifornire le truppe ne mandare aiuti perchè in zona gira la KB Jap che un paio di giorni fà ha affondato la BB Idaho

I Japponesi sono venuti in contatto con i russi, ma hanno dovuto effettuare uno shock-attac per l'attraversamento di un corso d'acqua. A contrastarli ci sono due divisioni e una fortificazione statica dotata di artiglieria pesante. 60 miglia a sud si trova Vladivostok, fortificazione 7, protetta da 4 divisioni di fanteria due brigate carri T34 un paio di battaglioni di cavalleria e 5 brigate di artiglieria tra cui 3 con artiglieria pesante. Tutte le unità hanno alti valori di combattimento, da 65 a 75.
Purtroppo tutti i miei aereoporti nelle vicinanze sono fuori uso a causa dei massicci bombardamenti Jap e di conseguenza con posso monitorare in ricognizione i suoi spostamenti.
Le 6 unità Jap venute in contatto con i russi non è che mi preoccupino più di tanto, quello che mi preoccupa sono le 16 unità che premono nel confine ovest come visionabile dall'allegato

Per quanto riguarda il resto nulla di particolare da segnalare tranne il fatto che una TF Jap si aggira in mezzo agli atolli a caccia di convogli

 

Per ritornare a quanto scritto nei post precedenti ecco alcuni allegati che riguardano vari settori del conflitto.

Qua, ho spedito al Gen. Patton un allegato con i dettagli di Petropavlosk per quanto riguarda la fortezza e la consistenza delle mie truppe. L'ho fatto perchè mi sembra impossibile che con 23.000 unità contro una fortezza di valore 1 difesa da solo 3237 engigner
non riesca a conquistarla. Mi puzza di bug.

Per quanto riguarda il settore south pacific il comando alleato ha deciso di raggruppare un consistente numero di unità affinchè tra 40-50 giorni siano pronte a sferrare una prima offensiva al perimetro di occupazione Japponese. La località esatta al momento non è stata ancora scelta

 

Purtroppo per motivi di mamma Telecoz non avevo la linea telefonica attiva e non ho potuto proseguire con l'aar intavolato con il Gen. Patton.

Ora sembra tutto ristabilito. Speriamo.

Con un forte conto attacco i valorosi soldati di Stalin hanno ricacciato i Jap nei loro confini di partenza. Nell'attacco hanno partecipato 4 div. di fanteria supportate da due brigate di artiglieria pesante e due di tank T 34

Non capisco come mai il Gen Patton abbia attuato questa strategia inconsistente.
Forse pensava di riuscire a tenere impegnate le mie truppe mentre arrivava con il grosso delle forze da Ovest con ben 16 unità. Non ho dati al riguardo, ma credo che posso stimare le unità in circa 150.000-200.000 uomini. Ma, non so cosa pensare.

Da Heiho il Gen. Patton ha trasferito tutte le sue unità a Sunwu.
Anche questa mossa non riesco ad inquadrarla. In pratica visto l'andazzo ho mandato una divisione a Heiho che essendo sguarnita è stata conquistata con facilità.
Da tenere presente che Heiho aveva una valore difensivo di 8 e quindi difficilmente conquistabile in un colpo solo. Non so propio cosa lo ha spinto a comportarsi in questo senso.

Naturalmente si accetano interpretazioni di aiuto.

Come annunciato nel post precedente ho tentato uno shock attac con risultati più che soddisfacenti. Ho perso diversi uomini e diverso materiale, ma il risultato mi fa ben sperare, almeno in questo settore. Purtroppo i bomb. cinesi non si alzano in volo per la penuria di supplis e di supporto aereo. Sto mandando quindi Eng. per dar man forte.

Nel settore russo 240 miglia a ovest di Vladivostok le truppe Jap sono ritornate al punto di partenza. Io credevo che Pat volesse attaccare da Nord e invece niente. Ho notato comunque, come da riquadro in basso, che le sta preparando per invadere Vladivostok, ma ancora non riesco a capire da dove.
