Il bombardamento ad Ambon delle due CL olandesi non ha prodotto risultati: nessun danno arrecato ai jap purtroppo. Ora le due CL si dirigeranno a darwin per rifornire ed uscire dal raggio d'azione dei Betty.
La base nonostante il costante bombardamento aereo nemico ha ancora una buona scorta di rifornimenti. L'assalto jap odierno si è risolto in un nulla di fatto anche se i forts sono scesi a 1.

Credo a questo punto che questa base sarà la prossima tappa dell'espansione jap nella regione. Nella base ho concentrato tutte le forze presenti a Sumatra sud per un totale di circa 180 AV.

Meiktila è caduta in mano ad un pugno di jap aviotrasportati. Purtroppo non avevo lasciato nessun contingente in questa città visto che la consideravo indifendibile, ma credo che una regola sul numero di uomini necessari che conquistare una base con aviolancio sia necessaria: ne discuterò con Gamma.

 

Da manuale davvero, complimenti a Gamma, a quanto ti ha ridotto l'AV?

Allora la AV è scesa di circa il 30%, adesso siamo a 140AV. LA fatica delle truppe a terra è in media di 30 mentre la disruption è ancora accettabile nelle unità di fanteria mentre in quelle del genio raggiunge cifre altissime (50/60). I forts sono a 2.5 mentre i danni alle strutture sfiorano il 100%.
Gamma ha sbarcato oltre 600AV inclusa la Guardia Imperiale quindi prevedo che non resisterò neanche un turno
In effetti con questa disparità di numeri c'è ancora poco che io possa fare per arginarlo.

La situazione in India inizia a preoccuparmi: posso contare su poche truppe e solo alcune di queste sono esperte. Sto concentrando tutto quello che posso sulla costa est per controbattere eventuali sbarchi mentre a Calcutta ho concentrato 1000AV pronti a creare una prima linea di difesa subito oltre Burma.
Qui ho anche 200 aerei tra caccia, bombardieri e recon (tutto quello di cui dispongo in pratica). Parte di questi andranno a formare un nucleo a Cylon mentre il resto tentera di dare battaglia nel caso i jap invadano l'India da Burma.

Sinceramente c'è poco che io possa fare di fronte ad un tale strapotere aereo.
Java e Timor conteranno solo sulle proprie forze per resistere il più a lungo possibile.
Anche se impegnassi gli incrociatori per cercare uno scontro sul mare verrei poi sicuramente massacrato dai Betty e Nell (PoW e Repulse insegnano).

Per ora sto cercando di portare rinforzi a Darwin, Port Moresby, Noumea e Suva: la mia prima vera linea di difesa. Spero che per quando arriveranno avrò truppe a sufficienza o almeno iniziare una guerra di logoramento per guadagnare tempo.

Al momento mi preoccupa la Cina dove i jap sono dei veri rulli compressori: non so veramemente come fermarli.

2 CV sono a Sidney, e 2 a PH. Tra pochi giorni arriverà la 5° a Bilbao ed entro fine aprile avrò a disposizione anche la 6° CV americana: 6 portaerei cominciano ad essere un buon numero ma il vero problema sono gli aerei, pocho performanti e con un raggio d'azione inferiore ai colleghi jap quindi per il momento eviterò scontri diretti se possibile.
In india ci sono già 1 CV e una CVL inglesi: ma per ora sono ben lontane da ogni teatro di guerra: vedrò in seguito come sarle al meglio senza perderle.
