AAR SOPAC Isomar vs Mazzocco ALLY

Ecco, il danno è fatto!!!
Stufo di non colpire nulla di nulla con le mie forze aeree terrestri decido di spostare le mie CV quel tanto che basta per colpire le sue navi ferme e immobili a NE di Gili Gili. Contemporaneamente Mazzocco fa la stessa pensata, nel senso che poi in chat mi racconta che aveva anche lui spostato le sue Cv verso Ovest per cercare di colpire qualche mia TF che trasportava truppe e viveri a PM.
La contestualità di questi due movimenti, io verso E e lui verso O, fa si che le nostre Cv vengano a contatto e......succede il disstro (per me ovvio !!!). entrambe le mie CV vengono colpite pesantemente, io colpisco solo la Shokaku.....risultato la Yorktown ha 99 (e il 12 viene definitivamente affondata da un siluro di un sottomarino) di flt e la Lexington 72.....eccovi il combat report.
Non so più come comportarmi...appena i suoi aerei vedono una mia nave la centrano (il colmo si è raggiunto il 7/5 quando di sette LB suoi partiti contro le mie AP a PM solo 1 è riuscito a passare la mia CAP e con un unico siluro a disposizione ha centrato in pieno una mia CA che stava di scorta alle AP !!!!!!!).
La partita è messa male...tra l'altro tra poco lui avrà altre 4 CV pronte pronte da usare (a me ne arrivano entro 45 gg solo 3).
Cercherò di arroccarmi ancora di più a PM, se per vincere deve venire a prendersela almeno venderò cara la pelle !!!

Continuano i miei raid aerei sul naviglio a portata di tiro. Quest'oggi i miei piloti sono stati più precisi del solito e qualche danno è stato fatto: risultano colpite una PG, una AP e una DD più un'altra AP che riporta gravi danni (e anche qualche casulties e gun lost).
L'alto comando cerca di tenere alto il morale della truppa facendo leva sull'orgoglio e la voglia di riscatto dopo la batosta dei giorni precedenti. Non so se la Lex ce la farà ad arrivare in porto sana e salva, cmq ha riportato danni così seri che dubito di riuscire a rimetterla in sesto prima della fine di questo scenario.
Ho deciso di trasportare via aerea il mio QG americano da brisbane più a nord, vicino a quello che presumibilmente diventerà teatro degli scontri nelle prossime settimane.
Avrei 2 domande pei giocatori più esperti:
ho provato a caricare degli aerei su AK, ma il turno successivo le AK sono partite senza aerei, che risultavano ancora alla loro base di partenza (per giunta adesso sono quasi tutti stati messi in riparazione...sigh sigh). C'è qualche ordine in particolare che devo dare e non ho dato ? Come mai le AK mi davano il messaggio di loading e poi il turno dopo sono ripartite senza caricare nulla di nulla?
Seconda domanda: quando mando i LB in Naval attack c'è unmodo di selezionare l'obiettivo o vanno in giro in giro per i fatti loro ?

Penso che sia lo stesso problema di qualche post fa, ossia se non metti le navi su "do not load" o non gli dai una destinazione dopo che li caricano li scaricano subito e quindi te li trovi in riparazione.

Non succede praticamente nulla....cerco di salvare la Lex sperndo che riesca ad arrivare in porto prima di colare a picco. Mazzocco sposta in zona tutti i suoi ss nel tantativo di colpire la mia CV in ritirata, io mando tutte le squadre in zona in Asw mission per proteggere la ritirata.

Oggi giornata positiva. Al mattino i capisqudriglia hanno ricevuto ordine dall'alto comando di sferrare un attacco aereo sulla base di Finschafen dove i ricognitori hanno riportato un grosso movimento di navi e mezzi da sbarco. L'attacco coglie di sorpresa le difese aeree giapponesi, 3 AP, 2 DD e 1 AK subiscono gravi danni, sono pochi gli zero che si levano in volo per contrastare i miei bombardieri, Mazzocco continua a ignorare i miei raid, meglio così, qualche soddisfazione oggi i miei me l'hanno data.

Continuano i raid sulla sua TF transport. Galvanizzati dal successo di ieri i miei B17, B20 e A20B sono tornati all'assalto ottennendo qualche altro buon risultato.
Purtroppo anche la LEX non ce l'ha fatta, arrivata nell'esagono del porto di Caims (mancavano poche miglia per l'approdo nel porto amico), anche la mia seconda Cv è miseramente affondata ! Un altro duro colpo alle mie malandate truppe.
Decido di compiere una mossa azzardata: mando degli AP per caricare a Noumea una divisione di fanti (e un pò di supply) per mandarli a Guadalcanal a riprendermi la mia base. Vediamo se Mazzocco manderà fuori le sue Cv (che i miei recon dicono ancorate a Rabaul) per affondare le mie navi da sbarco, io intanto preparerò una cintura di SS in modo da cercare il colpo gobbo: chissà se con un pò di fortuna non riesca a giocrgli uno scherzetto alle sue portaerei.

Ancora raid sulle sue navi e ancor qualche buon risultato: 2 AP, 1 DD e 1 AK centrati in pieno. Mazzocco prova un contrattacco su Port moresby, una sua squadriglia di bombardieri cerca di avvicinarsi al mio avamposto ma subito si alzano in volo 32 caccia intercettori che impartiscono una lezione ai 12 Nell nemici. Non so se Mazzocco abbia fatto una prova per vedere se PM aveva copertura aerea o se abbia commesso un errore e i suoi Nell sono partiti senza che lui lo volesse. Propendo per la seconda ipotesi, anche perchè non avevano neanche uno zero di scorta !

Continuano le schermaglie tra sottomarini e squadre in Asw mission. Il mio SS S-38 mette a segno due colpi su un Ak e un Ap nemici ma viene a sua volta colpito. Questo turno i miei LB si alzano in volo per andare a colpire la base di Finschafen: i risultati non sono eccezzionali ma questo continuo bombardamento in mare e sulle basi nemiche qualche buon colpo lo porta a casa.
Decido di dirottare la mia TF Transport (4 Ap con una Tf di scorta) verso Gili Gili; so che sbarcare le mie truppe li esporrà le mie navi al bombardamento dei bombardieri nemici, ma ho deciso di rischiare perchè voglio provare a difendere e costruire a Gili gili un A/F che mi permetta di tenere sotto scacco una vasta zona di mare. Il piano è di difficile e lunga realizzazione, ma l'Alto comando, visto le difficoltà dei giapponesi nel contrastare le incursioni che partono da PM, ha deciso di creare un'altra base da cui "martellare" basi e navi nemiche.

La TF transport giapponese continua ad avanzare verso Gili Gili, stavolta il tempo migliora e i miei LB la intercettano riuscendo a colpire qualche loro nave. Non mi risulta che nella TF siano presenti navi da guerra pesanti perciò decido di mandargli incontro una TF SC composta da 3 CA e 5 DD con l'obittivo di intercettarla e fare scempio dei suoi transport. C'è anche un secondo obiettivo più ambizioso: potrebbe essere che Mazzocco una volta scoperta la mia TFAC decida di mandargli incontro qualche CV per affondare le mie navi: a quel punto da PM sono pronti i miei squadroni di LB (circa 100 apparecchi) per rendere ai giappi quanto subito una decina di giorni fa dalle mie cv. Vediamo quel che succede.
Nel frattempo Mazzocco conquista Buma con "solo" 17 uomini...non ho capito da dove sono arrivati, navi di sicuro no (le avrei intercettate), possibile che siano arrivati a piedi da Lae?

Mah non saprei...con tutti i recon, gli aerei in naval search e i sottomarini miei in zona mi sembra strano che sia passato senza essere visto.....però da qualche parte sono arrivati, quindi ho li ha paracadutati, o sottomarino o a piedi da Lae. Altro non mi viene in mente.....

Dopo quasi 2 settimane finalmente ri-aggiorno il mio AAR che per mancanza di tempo è rimasto piuttosto indietro rispetto alla partita (che nel frattempo è andata avanti). Faccio un punto della situazione:
Dall'inizio delle ostilità ho perso ca. 450 aerei contro i ca.300 dei giapponesi; 14 navi (tra cui le mie due Cv) contro 34 (5 DD, 1 SS, 1 PG 3 PC e svariate Ak,Ap e Tk). Combattimenti terrestri praticamente non ce ne sono stati.
I jappi hanno conquistato Buma, Gili Gili, Guadalcanal e Tulagi. Ho cercato di riprendermi le prime due ma ho fatto 2 errori clamorosi:
nel caso di Gili Gili ho tergiversato e quando mi sono deciso era ormai troppo tardi xchè Mazzocco aveva già sbarcato migliaia di uomini (al prezzo di parecchi transport affondati però !!!). A Buma ho mandato un Tr suicida che, incredibilmente, è riuscita a passare indenne, è arrivata a Buma e ha scaricato l'incredibile numero di 80 soldati !!! (neanche nell'hex giusto, in quello a sud di Buma). Si vede che nel load/unload mi sono incasinato e il mio Tr è partito con solo 80 soldati !
Meglio, molto meglio mi è andata a Guadalcanal che sono riuscito a riconquistare grazie a 2 fast transport che hanno sbarcato ca.3000 uomini che hanno ripreso possesso dell'isola.
PM continua ad essere mia difesa da ca. 40.000 uomini e più di 200 aerei. A dire il vero Mazzocco, tranne qualche sporadico raid, non ha ancora cominciato ad attaccare seriamente, meglio per me che da questa base lancio ogni giorno i miei attacchi sulle sue TF.
Gli obiettivi a breve termine sono: difendere a tutti i costi PM, tra meno di 2 settimane mi arrivano 2 nuove CV e uno stormo di 72 P39 che renderanno molto più arduo per i nemici attaccare PM. Ho mandato un'altra Tf fast transport con obiettivo Tulagi; non conto di riuscire a tenere a lungo il possesso di guadalcanal ed eventualmente di tulagi, però i jappi saranno costretti a mandare un pò di forze a riprendersi queste isolette (sono fuori dal raggio di azione dei miei bombardieri, quindi può far sbarcare eventuali divisioni con tutta calma), quindi conto di fargli perdere un pò di tempo e distrarlo un pò dall'obiettivo PM.
Il 4 giugno c'è stato il primo scontro tra SCTF, la mia compost da 2 AC e 3 DD, la sua da 3 CA e 6 DD. Nonostante l'inferiorità numerica lo scontro si è risolto a mio favore con un DD affondato e un altro Heavy damage più 2 Ca colpiti contro 2 dd e 1 ca miei colpiti (ma non in maniera grave). Onore alla mia marina che si è battuta valorosamente.

E' arrivato il primo scontro aereo "serio" su PM. Mazzocco dopo tanti turni di attacchi su mie basi vuote (per aumentare l'exp dei suoi Lb immagino) si è finalmente deciso a cominciare le operazioni. 36 caccia e 72 bomb sono partiti da Lae con l'intento di ridurre in polvere le piste di Pm. 37 caccia erano pronti a riceverlo con i dovuti onori (in Cap già da molti turni avevo messo le squadriglie con exp più alta, tutte sopra i 70 di exp.) I miei piloti, preparati a difendere la base a tutti i costi, hanno inferto una dura lezione ai dirimpettai con gli occhi a mandorla 28 aerei abbattuti contro "solo" 9 miei caccia persi !!! Purtroppo un buon numero di aerei è riuscito a passare e a sganciare il loro carico di bombe causando danni all'aereoporto (niente di irreparabile) e colpendo dei miei Lb rimasti a terra. Nel frattempo la maggior parte dei miei Lb era partita per bombardare Lae (senza grossi risultati) e le navi che Mazzocco continua a tenere a portata dei miei aerei (colpiti un Apd e un Ak)

Continua il bombardamento dell'aviazione nipponica sulla base di PM. I miei caccia, seppur provati da oltre un mese di missioni quasi ininterotte, si comporatno egregiamente ed abbattono un gran numero di aerei nemici (50 velivoli in 2 gg). Nonostante gli sforzi dei miei nemici PM è ancora integra, i bombardamenti subiti causano pochi danni che vengono rapidamente riparati dai miei Eng (proprio in previsione di questa situazione avevo provveduto a spostare nelle prime settimane del conflitto ben 4 unità di Eng).
I miei bombardieri continuano le missioni di Naval attack colpendo ripetutamente i suoi transport.
Mazzocco ha mandato 2 SCTF a Lunga (da me riconquistata pochi giorni fa) per effettuare continui bombardment. Le sue navi hanno vita facile in quell'hex, sono troppo lontane per i miei LB !!! Ho un FTTF pronta a sbarcare nuove truppe a Lunga, ma finchè le sue TF rimangono li sono costretto a temporeggiare, non ho nessuna intenzione di mandare le mie navi al macello.
Ho un problema: non riesco a fare le missioni di minamento nè con le ML nè con SS. Ho fatto partire queste navi con questa mission da Brisbane (porto di capacità 9), arrivano a destinazione e....non succede nulla. Qualcuno mi può aiutare a capire dove sbaglio?

allora per i sub pure io non ho capito benissimo, visto che sub che non portano mine me li fà mettere in task force sub minelayng......mistreri......l'unico modo quindi è guardare le caratteristiche del sub e controllare che effettivamente abbia la capacità di trasportare mine.......(e sono molto pochi).

Mentre per le ML, una volta formata la task force devi cambiare l'opzione Do not lay mines in Lay mines, la trovi vicino alle altre opzioni della task force, refuelling, patrol do not retire, mission speed.........

naturalmente i MineLayer devono avere mine a bordo, anche qui devi entrare su ogni nave e guardare se hanno "ricaricato" in porto.
