    Gy : la riunione fu per la precisione il 3 maggio (sono andato a riguardare "Panzer Leader"), è l'oggetto era discutere il Piano Zeitzler;
    da li ad attuarlo, sarebbe stato necessario almeno un meso comunque. Tra metà giugno e il 4 luglio sicuramente i russi deposero un bel pò di mine e scavarono un bel pò di trincee ... ma in ogni caso non sarebbe stato come a maggio :asd:, rasputitsa a parte :asd:

    "ahò, so er mejo! ciò raggione io!" è più o meno quello che intendevo.
    Se guardi l'indice analitico delle Memorie di entrambi (500+ pagine) si citano a vicenda non più di 5-6 volte :asd:

    Dal libro Tigers in Combat (vol. I e II) di W. Schneider riporto qualche informazione

    A typical example of the arbitrary handling of facts is the description of the so-called "Tank Battle of Prokhorovka," which took place on 12 July 1943 during Operation "Citadel." The 5th Guards Tank Army suffered a shocking number of casualties : more than 400 tanks on one day. In order to screen the poor operational leadership resulting in such losses, Rotmistrov, the commander-in-chief, did not hesitate to declare the engagement to have been won for the Soviets.
    He stated the heaviest losses had been suffered by the Germans and claimed that more than seventy Tigers had been destroyed. This claim has been accepted uncritically in most of the available literature. The fact is that the German formations in this sector of the front had a total of only forty-three Tigers at their disposal, namely, the heavy tank companies of the three aforementioned SS armored divisions. On 12 July 1943, the heavy tank company of SS-Panzer-Regiment 1 reported a total of one complete loss. In the course of the Operation "Citadel," the three SS Tiger companies lost four tanks.

    Dal diario di guerra

    11 July 1943: Heavy thunderstorms soak the roads, so the scheduled beginning of the attack at 0600 hours must be postponed until 1045 hours. Mter getting over an tank ditch, four Tigers carry on the attack at the railway line Teterewino-Wesselxi. In the further attack on Prochorovka, twenty-eight antitank guns and six artillery pieces are destroyed. During these two days, twenty-four T-34s are knocked out. Four Tigers are operational. The tank regiment is held back as a quick-reaction force in the area of Oserovskiy; SSUntersturmfiihrer Wittmann takes over acting command of the company, because SSHauptsturmfiihrer Schutz is wounded.

    12 July 1943: Fierce Soviet tank attacks from the direction of Jamki, Prochorovka and Petrovka (on both sides of Kalinin) are pushed back. The II./SS-Panzer-Regiment "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" and the Tiger company knock out 163 enemy tanks. One Tiger is knocked out; nine Tigers undergo repair.
    Total tanks: 12.

    13 July 1943: At 1030 hours, the attack is stopped, because it proves to be impossible to penetrate the enemy positions immediately south of the Oktyabrskiy collective farm. Protection of the flank along the railway line Teterewino-Prochorovka. One enemy tank is destroyed; nine Tigers undergo repair.

    14 July 1943: The divisional armored group, located at Point 247.6 to the northeast of Komsomolez, is directed to report directly to the II. SS-Panzer-Korps. The assault planned at Yamki is called off. The company has knocked out 150 enemy tanks up to this point in Operation "Citadel."

    Quindi secondo il libro la LSSAH aveva 4 Tiger operativi, dopo Prochorovka ne ha 1 disabilitato e 9 in riparazione.

    Ho poi controllato sul Kosave II ed ho visto che i dati, pur non coincidendo, sono molto simili , cioè per la simulazione la LSSAH aveva 3 Tiger operativi, dopo Prochorovka ne ha 1 danneggiato e 9 in riparazione.
