    Ad andare ancora più di fino, gli aerei dei Marines andrebbero sotto HQ dell'USMC, ma penso che neanche nella realtà funzionasse in modo così limitato, va più che bene. Non so bene come si divide il Pacifico, tra forward, CenPac e roba varia, vado un po' a caso.

    Come mai non passino i supply tra Manila e Clark Field non so, se i lati che combaciano sono entrambi verdi non dovrebbero esserci problemi, posta lo screen con il tasto W. Penso che il problema sia lì, visto che non ti fa muovere le unità tra le due basi.
    I risultati a Manila sono negativi un po' a sorpresa, lo devo ammettere, un po' devi considerare che le divisioni filippine non sono paragonabili a quelle Jap, non valgono la metà nonostante l'apparenza degli AV. Quanto puoi resistere, 2-3 settimane.
    Non so i numeri che si fronteggiano a Clark Field, se dovessi puntare su un esito direi un ecatombe alleata: lo shock con 0 supply è in puro stile Cadorna nella I GM.

    esattamente quel che mi è successo.
    ora, penso di reimbarcare il reggimento di fanteria, lasciando in difesa solo il battaglione dei marines.
    due ragioni:
    • occupa troppi stacking limits
    • il battaglione marines è ottimo, e ha preparazione 100 per wake
    Da qualche parte devo far spazio, e mi servono genieri per avere piste, porto e sopratutto punti per gli aerei.
    Se non proteggo Wake dal cielo, temo che possa radermi al suolo e ingabbiarmi.
    Inoltre, sto minando il porto, quindi non sarà facile sbarcare.

    Comunque, riporto il reggimento fanteria a PH sempre pronto per Wake, perché se i giapponesi sbarcano, voglio avere dei rinforzi pronti a intervenire.
    Come detto, non voglio mollare l'atollo.

    Dalla costa ovest, 3 squadriglie di idrovolanti vanno verso le isole del pacifico.

    I Giapponesi sono velenosi coi sommergibili vicino a Port Moresby, dove non ho navi con capacità ASW.

    A Rangoon, sbarca la 7th Armoured Brigade, che sarà sicuramente molto utile per il futuro scontro, dato che ha molti corazzati e alto morale ed esperienza.

    Ma è a Batavia che si preparano le cose importanti.
    Arriva la Darwin Battle Fleet, con un CA a comando della squadra.
    Si prepara anche la 1st Dutch Surface Fleet, con CL e DD.
    Andremo a caccia dei DD giapponesi, che stanno giocando coi nostri SS.
    Ci sono almeno 2 squadre di numerosi DD a nord, che danno la caccia ai nostri SS per proteggere la loro testa di ponte.
    Il nostro scopo non è colpire i DD (infatti andiamo sempre a vuoto), ma tenerli lì.
    E ora, partiamo con 2 flotte di superficie, per scontrarci coi giapponesi.

    E' un azzardo, ma i conigli giocano d'azzardo.

    LA BATTAGLIA DEI MACIGNI DI SALE

    Come ricorderà l'attento lettore, da circa una settimane, i conigli spostavano le navi da battaglia superstiti all'attacco dei giapponesi, che, dopo aver scortato la BC Repulse e la BB Prince of Wales nei porti australiani, risalivano con ardimento le coste dell'isola dei canguri per tornare verso il mare di Giava.
    Fu in quel periplo periglioso che venivano sorprese, in parte, dalla morte nera (o qualcosa di molto simile), e venivano attaccate nel porto di Darwin.

    Ciò che rimaneva, veniva raggiunto da navi da battaglia americane e si dirigeva a Batavia, non prima di aver compiuto un largo giro e avere osservato la piccola morte nera (la mortina morina) seminare il panico nei mari intorno a Singapore, senza però fare molto nei porti.
    Così, venivano raggruppate una dozzina di minuscole motosiluranti e inviate nei porti più avanzate, in attesa di colpire, dopo averle rifornite con una piccola petroliera.

    Infine, dopo alcuni giorni, riuscivo a riunire a Batavia la 1st Dutch Surface Fleet e la Darwin Fleet: in pratica, tutte le navi da battaglia disponibili nel sud ovest del pacifico, tolto quelle lasciate e proteggere le coste australiane, e in particolare una formazione potenziata denominata Ran Cruisers.

    Ebbene, cari membri del CDC, dopo aver per giorni osservato i DD nemici cercare i miei sub nella baia di Singkawan, sub che noi del comando alleato astutamente mandavamo a tenere impegnato il nemico (anche se con nulli risultati), il 31 gennaio il comando alleato ordina di attaccare, con entrambe le squadre navali, sapendo di trovarsi di fronte ad almeno altrettante squadre.

    Sapevamo dalla ricognizione aerea, concentrata nel settore per giorni, di trovarci di fronte a scorte di DD, e abbiamo rischiato.

    Ora, come previsto:
    1) lanciamo la seconda squadra all'attacco delle navi giapponesi in fuga
    2) chiudiamo la via del ritorno con una decina di sommergibili
    3) lanciamo una dozzina di motosiluranti che avevamo spostato in segreto nel porto più vicino

    Tutta la marina alleata del teatro era stata lanciata in questa operazione, rischiando tutto.
    La battaglia dei macigni di sale non era ancora finita.

    Da puro ignorante in materia mi inchino davanti ad un simile capolavoro.
    Del gioco ne so una mazza,pero' mi pare una pianificazione brillante,condotta con audacia e finalizzata alla grande.

    Ci sta che il jappo non riesca a coprire adeguatamente ogni sbarco che intende fare.
    Ma bisogna saper cogliere l'attimo, e tu l'hai colto.

    La battaglia dei Macigni di Sale

    Non è finita.
    Ovviamente, temevo la reazione dei Giapponesi e in effetti è arrivata.
    Le navi giapponesi sono sparite a nord (non vedo trasporti però).
    In direzione nord est, ci sono tre piccoli gruppi di DD, se sono andate così lontano, non possono avere i trasporti al seguito, peraltro danneggiati.
    Che siano affondati?

    Ora, preciso al Maestro TSM @cohimbra che non solo io rinomino le flotte da battaglia, ma anche tutti i convogli di trasporto di roba che trasporta roba e roba che trasporta gente.
    Ad esempio, se ho un convoglio da Los Angeles a Pearl Harbour che porta fuel, in close support (vai e torna in automatico) sarà denominato, rigorosamente CSf LosA-PH.

    Quindi, le mie due squadre da battaglia stanno fuggendo, una verso Batavia (quella del CA Houston) e l'altra invece verso Singapore. Una terza piccola è già rientrata a Singapore.

    La mia mossa di mandare le 12 motosiluranti non è stata efficace, perché non hanno trovato più nulla (dovevo forse mandarle prima) ma almeno sono servite a una cosa: si sono prese valanghe di bombe e siluri da dozzine di aerei giappi, provenienti da nord est.

    Ecco la situazione.

    Insomma, c'è più traffico che nel centro di Londra a Natale.
    Ora:
    1) tutti i sommergibili tenteranno di fare da schermo e pescare il jolly
    2) la squadra olandese è rimasta indietro, cercando le navi giapponesi da trasporto (senza trovarle) e ora ho dato ordine di rientrare a Batavia (in direzione opposta al nemico)
    3) le motosiluranti sono disbandate in porto locale, dove hanno parzialmente fatto il pieno (così se le vuol trovare deve attaccare il porto), o attacca il porto o no, chi lo sa?

    La battaglia non è finita, inizia la caccia al coniglio.
    Riusciranno le navi alleate a rientrare o saranno colate a picco dalle CV giapponesi?

    Comunque vada, io prenderei la stessa decisione.
    Noi conigli non lasciamo l'iniziativa al nemico.
    I conigli sono animali carnivori, è risaputo.

    Bella partita, non sono un esperto alleato ma devo dire che per essere un duellante dilettante ti comporti molto bene!;)

    Se la "1st" l'hai settata in full speed dovrebbe scappare in ogni caso, a meno che non ci siano collisioni, becchino uno scoglio, si fermino a pescare o arrivi un ufo... tutte molto probabili in questo gioco:D

    • Nel proprio AAR si puó adottare lo stile che si preferisce, ma non si può contestare i moderatori
    Carissimo membro del CDC Pickett (posso annoverarti nel CDC vero?),
    io non riesco mai a settare full speed, non padroneggio queste cose che voi SM usate come l'aceto sull'insalata, tipo modificare la velocità e viaggiare di giorno e di notte, arrivando mai in anticipo o in ritardo, ma esattamente quando volete arrivare (cit.)

    io, da buon dilettante, conosco solo la mission speed, e per me la notte e il giorno, l'ombra e la luce sono casi del destino, fatalità, occasioni caduche, si sta come su gli alberi le foglie, e più non dimandare.
    insomma, per ora gioco con la quarta C.
    la famosa botta di C.
    Ma poiché questo è un forum serio, non mi si chieda quale sia la traduzione, né quali siano le prime tre.
    Del resto, i tre moschettieri erano quattro.

    Lo so, sarò cazziato del truce moderatore per questo off topic, ma me ne fotto, perché sono brillo e tra 11 minuti torno a lavorare in quella che coloro che se la tirano chiamano conference call, mentre è solo una rompitura di C.
    E nella mia testa un solo rammarico: non poter giocare il turno.
    E sopratutto, il vero dilemma: ma ora, dove colpirà Daniel?

    Per inciso, rendo noto ai reverendissimi SM e TSM del CDC che, al fine di immergermi maggiormente nel mio immeritato ruolo, mi leggo e rileggo le gesta degli storici protagonisti sui libri di storia, al fine di verificare le formazioni delle squadre di battaglia, sia giapponesi, sia alleate, e farmi una idea di come dovesse essere, tirando un sospiro di sollievo per il fatto di essere qui a cazzeggiare davanti a un monitor.

    Non lo so, devi? Penso che peggiorerei le cose :p

    Per cambiare vlocità di una TF, sotto le belle foto caricate dal team di sviluppatori, ci sono vari settaggi tra i quali appunto la velocità, cliccando su di essa puoi scegliere tra Cruise speed (velocità ridotta), mission speed (velocità normale) [o era il contrario? boh:wall:] e full speed (max velocità).

    Non ti preoccupare non sei l'unico;) come il mio omonimo preferisco le carica in massa a testa bassa:rolleyes: anche quando sono contro il mio volere:D
