As the American commander, you have to delay the Russian ofensive in your sector. Remember: the enemy severely outnumbers you, and their forces are the spearhead of the Russian offensive - they are professionals! The momentum of the attack must be broken at all costs! This is imperative to warrant the deployment of our core armored forces, so we will be able to counter-attack. The USAF has already attained air superiority over your sector, so you'll have reasonable air support, to make up for the lack of artillery.

Make the best use of the forces available to you. HURRAH!

HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION:

Tensions raised dramatically in Eastern Europe, as a delayed side effect of the Armenia vs Azerbaijan war which killed over 40,000 people in 1989-1994. It was a point of pride that the larger and
more populous Muslim neighbor (Azerbaijan) lost almost 20 percent of it's landmass (Nagorno-Karablakh) to its much smaller, poorer, and less populous neighbor (Armenia).

Russia intervened. The EU intervened, too. The Russian Army surprised the world when, in a stunning and brilliantly executed strategic blow, encircled and destroyed the European Army Group Center, defeating the combined British/German/Polish force (the T-90+ proved to be more than a match for the Leopards and Challengers) and smashed through the French 2nd Armee.

Now, the remains of the European Union Intervention Forces (EUIFOR) are struggling to stop the waves of Russian armor, but the outcome seems grim.

Against their heart's whishes and respective national pride, the Europeans had no choice but to do what their forefathers had done during WW2: ask America for help. The US didn't want a Russian controlled Europe, and there were significant signs that a massive Russian victory could mean the resurrection of the Soviet ideal of domination of Europe.

Risking a nuclear war, the US faced the logistic nightmare of sending all its core armored forces to put a stop on the Russian advance.

The first US forces arriving in the East Front had to be committed at once, as the whole front was falling apart, so the US tankers would have to face a situation of serious numerical inferiority. As it turned out, it would be a rather bloody business.

che emozione, quanto tempo dall'ultimo pbem con steel panthers!

 

Essendo lo scenario molto breve temo che il prode @DistruttoreLegio arrivera' quando avremo quasi finito.
Comunque:
Turno -1 ( manco avevo inserito la password)
Piove roba grossa russa in paese e arrivano due F16 (credo).
Uno si fa solo danneggiare e l'altro fa saltare un SA15 Gauntlet.

Mi cago sotto e m'imbosco.

 

Ho letto solo ora l'ipotetica situazione e desumo che sara' non un'ipotetica battaglia ma bensi' un reale massacro (il mio).

 

Ti meriti il winner per la velocita' mostruosa nel produrre.
Se rendi sul lavoro come a SP,andresti nominato cavaliere del lavoro.

 

Turno 2
Dalle parti di ECHO7 un T90 salta per aria sotto i colpi di un Abrams.
Piove,o meglio grandina,artiglieria russa un po' qua e un po' la,specie sul paese.
Aspetto di essere sommerso dalla marea rossa.

 

sono in netta perdita ... lavoro nuovo ... per ora spese su spese ... ma non dirlo a @hurricane se no non se la sente di giocare con me per non distrarmi dal lavoro ...

 

ti fa ridere(funny) ? a me meno ... ma i soldi non fanno la felicità ...

 

Era questa la parte divertente non l'incipit.

ah e io qua stappo le cose importanti perché me la voglio proprio godere

non ho capito ... spiegamela ... sarà il divario generazionale

 

Dai che è la prima volta che leggo un AAR di SPMBT, sono curiosissimo di vedere come si sviluppa questo scenario...

 

Benedicici e aspergici, tesssoro mio! Mi sssa che quesssta è carne di prima scelta (Cit)

 

Turno 3
Dopo aver perso un Abrams,immobilizzato dalle parti di DELTA4,compensato da 3/4 tank russi,un Tow fa saltare un T-90 in ECHO5,mentre gli scout americani subiscono pesanti perdite sulle colline in DELTA/ECHO1.
Gia' ora si contano almeno una ventina di carri russi avanzanti,T72-T80 e T90.
Il villaggio e' gia' in mano russa,troppo spostato ad Est,in pratica sono gli americani a dover attaccare se lo vogliono conquistare,cosa impossibile visto il divario di forze.

 

Mio Dio non sembri neppure più te

 

Replay del turno russo
Ecatombe americana,saltano due Abrams,due Bradley e un M7 Fist,lasciato vergognosamente allo scoperto dopo aver tentato di dirigere l'artiglieria.
I russi ci rimettono 2/3 tanks,ero troppo contrariato per contarli.
Entra qualche F16 che non trova di meglio (con tutto quel che c'e') che sparare ad un equipaggio russo in fuga.
All'orizzonte almeno una trentina di carri russi.
Turno 4
In ALFA7 arriva un po' di cavalleria,sotto forma di due Abrams di rinforzo.
Si trovano a diretto contatto con due T72,distrutti
Lungo la strada che corre ad Est vengono avvistati,e fatti saltare, un'altro T72 e un T90.
Galvanizzati i compagni reagiscono e una decina di tank, e un paio di BMP, vengono disintegrati.
All'orizzonte UN PO' MENO di una trentina di carri russi ora.
Comunque non c'e' storia,siamo in netta inferiorita' numerica e i VH sono lontani e perduti,tranne un paio nelle retrovie americane.
