    Il supporto dei tender è distinto da quello dei genieri. Nella schermata della base dove hai il tender dovresti vedere ad esempio 10+36. 10 è il supporto fornito dalle truppe, 36 dal tender; e quest'ultimo vale solo per i float patrol, gli idrovolanti.

    A singapore, per la cronaca, ho ricostruito il 3rd Heavy rgt., ora abbiamo una buona antiaerea mi pare.

    Da PH si imbarca un distaccamento di genieri, direzione WAKE. Come noto, abbiamo deciso di tenerci l'isola. Devo costruire piste per aeroplani, porto e fortificazioni.

    A Giava, metto il 1st Dutch Surface sotto il comando dell'ammiraglio Doorman.
    Perché?

    Come sarebbe perché? Sapete benissimo che io sono un profondo studioso di storia militare, no?

    A Port Blair, sbarca la 18th divisione. Voglio una guarnigione di tutto rispetto.

    Battaglia Aerea nei cieli di Singapore. Rangoon e Clark Field.
    Al momento, i Giapponesi hanno una enorme superiorità aerea solo nelle Filippine.
    In Birmania e a Singapore mi difendo bene.

    La sesta divisione australiana si imbarca da Aden, direzione Rangoon.

    avevo portato la forza Z a Darwin, allo scopo di farla tornare a combattere nei mari di Giava.
    Il giorno prima avevo spostato da Darwin a Derby la Darwin Battle Fleet.
    Ho avuto sfortuna perché le portaerei giapponesi sono arrivate ad attaccare Darwin lo stesso giorno in cui ho spostato la squadra navale della forza Z e sono affondate:
    Danae
    Durban
    Dragon
    oltre a diversi DD.

    Lo so, lo so, diversi membri del CDC mi avevano avevrtito che Darwin non è un porto sicuro, all'inizio della guerra.
    Non vi sono stato a sentire, ben mi sta.

    Invece ho avuto fortuna per la squadra navale di Darwin.
    Se non l'avessi spostata il giorno prima, ora avrei in fondo al mare molte altre navi da battaglia.
    Invece, la Darwin Battle Fleet, ora si sposta verso Giava, a incontrare i Giapponesi.

    • io ne approfitto per mandare il mondo alle isole Wake (mine, genieri, aerei, rinforzi, sub, navi da supporto di vario tipo)
    • i sommergibili giappo mordono ovunque, ma ne affondo uno a Palmyra
    • a PH metto in riparazione veloce la BB Oklahoma e la BB California, saranno pronte in stato danneggiato tra 69 e 55 gg e saranno mandate sulla costa ovest per fare spazio nei cantieri navali di PH
    Il morale è alto.

    E' pericoloso soprattutto se non ci metti la CAP...

    io ce la metterei anche la CAP, ad avercela.
    sto facendo arrivare qualche caccia dall'america, ma ci vorranno giorni, se non settimane.

    No, capisco la situazione, so bene la penuria di caccia alleata; oltre ad essere una battuta, il consiglio è di non farti trovare impreparato e cercare di avere sempre qualche caccia nei paraggi quando mandi nei porti avanzati navi importanti, ma son sicuro che a questo c'eri già arrivato!

    Se leggo bene e Kate & Val sono arrivati senza scorta; i tuoi pivelli avrebbero fatto sfracelli, decimandoli. Perdonami, ma non si possono lasciare navi da guerra al fronte in porti privi di copertura aerea (a Los Angeles magari si). Quando ci sono navi preziose ed hai a disposizione solo pivelli, fai volare i pivelli; esperienza e skill Air crescono anche volando in Cap. Voglio dire, anche in caso di attacco scortato subirai perdite e i bombardieri passeranno, sganceranno e colpiranno; ma non lo faranno in totale libertà e subiranno un certo attrito che li costringerà prima o poi a mollare la presa per rifiatare/rifornire. Se non hai caccia al limite puoi utilizzare i float plane come Cap d'emergenza (per il jappo il Pete svolge discretamente questa funzione, per gli alleati non saprei); ovviamente contro i caccia sono pressochè inutili, ma qualche bombardiere privo di scorta riescono a buttarlo comunque giù...e i bombardieri monomotore jappo sono particolarmente fragili e facili da abbattere.

    Finalmente, un SS giappo che colpiva a Palmyra è stato (pare) affondato.
    Per il resto, il giappo avanza dovunque.
    Buone notizie perchè la BB Oklahoma e California saranno pronte in stato danneggiato tra 69 e 55 gg e le manderò nei cantieri della costa occidentale.
    Continuano le scorribande delle CVE giapponesi, sono in zona Singapore, ma non vedo ancora truppe trasportate.
    Quindi, al momento, sono tranquillo e continuo a portare rifornimenti ogni volta che vedo un buco nel blocco navale (a dire il vero molto tenue).

    Chiusa la pratica Wake.
    A Wake, ora, riunisco con una diabolica mossa sotto lo stesso comando aereo (USN Forward Air Cen PAC) in un solo squadrone di aerei dei marines ben 17 aerei.
    Meglio che niente!

    Domanda: il comando sotto il quale ho posizionato e unito due separati gruppi di aerei (sono arrivati i rinforzi da PH) è corretto?
    Intendo dire se sia logico quel comando per quegli aerei dei marines.
    A naso penso di sì, dato che è un HQ della USN.
    Ma non lo so, vorrei giocare in modo corretto, per cui se sbaglio correggetemi.

    Intanto, arrivano altri aerei da caccia con navi trasporto, direzione Wake.
    Non so se si è capito, ma Wake è un atollo su cui il comando dei conigli ha fatto una questione di prestigio nazionale.
    Dovrà rompersi le corna, il giapponese, per riprendere lo sbarco.

    Ah, prima o poi doveva capitare.
    Premesso che ho diviso le forza tra Manila e Clark Field, mi trovo le unità di Clark Field senza rifornimenti.
    Io pensavo che essendo vicinissimo a Manila, e dato che il lato dell'esagono era verde, arrivassero i rifornimenti, invece niente.
    Ho provato a premere il "tasto 5" come letto altrove e ho visto i rombi gialli.
    Boh, non ci capisco un rombo.
    Come affluiscono i rifornimenti?

    Penso di aver commesso un grave errore a dividere le forze.
    Ora mi trovo mezzo esercito a Clark Field a difendere un aeroporto inutilizzabile, senza più aerei.
    In compenso, il giapponese attacca a Manila.

    I genieri nemici hanno distrutto un libello di fortificazioni.
    Pensavo di reggere meglio, con 7 divisioni.
    Evidentemente, la qualità e il morale dei giapponesi è molto superiore.
    Qualcuno può dirmi quanto posso resistere, visti questi risultati?

    In ogni caso, io ho provato a spostare le unità da Clark Field a Manila, ma non posso muoverle.
    Non ho capito.
    Forse sono bloccato da una unità giapponese che è già a Clark Field.
    Quindi, per liberare le unità assediate e senza più rifornimenti (supplies zero), ordino uno shock attack a Clark Field.

    Le ragioni del mio folle gesto.
    1) Spero di vincere, ho netta superiorità di numeri. Se aspetto e arrivano i rinforzi giapponesi che vedo nell'esagono a nord, sono finito. Ora o mai più.
    2) Se vinco, spero di poter muovere le unità e riportarle a Manila, spostandole non in Move ma in Combat.

    Non sono affatto sicuro di stare ragionando in modo corretto.
    Se sbaglio, correggetemi, grazie.

    Avrebbe senso ad esempio tenere unità in riserva?

    Direi di si, l'importante è che il comandante di quell'HQ abbia alti AIR ratings, poi credo che i benefici influssi si facciano sentire, tanto più che la squadriglia l'hai posta sotto quel comando.
    Fai bene. L'isola e sì piccola, ma è sempre una spina nel fianco e anche se magari il giap si incaponirà per prenderla e ci riuscirà (perché se vuole, può ;) ), perderà un sacco di tempo e per te il tempo è oro. ;)
    Se giochi con gli stacking limits, okkio a non andare Over: le truppe hanno dei malus terribili e l'esa diventa un pozzo di supplys senza fondo ;)
