    Le truppe commonwealth del V corpo indiano prendono terra a Mersing senza incontrare resistenza e le perdite si limitano alle solite "distrazioni" negli sbarchi dell'equipaggiamento pesante.     MALESIA
    Le truppe sbarcate a Mersing si mettono sulla difensiva, dopo che l'11^ divisione di fanteria dell'Africa orientale ha raggiunto la costa occidentale della Malesia.
    Il comando di settore decide l'invio a Mersing di unità del genio che possano aprire e rendere operativo l'aereoporto almeno per i caccia.
    I primi AKA e APA della forza d'attacco anfibia, ormai scarichi di rifornimenti, vengono sganciati dalla TF originaria viene dato loro l'ordine di rientrare a Bangkok ... o meglio ... avrei voluto che fosse così ... se non che ho messo "set home port Bangkok" e come faccio sempre ho selezionato "return to" senza far caso che la base predefinita era KARACHI :mad::mad:.
    Quindi quelli si sono messi sulla rotta per lo stretto di Malacca e, arrivati (a questo punto per un mio stupidissimo errore) davanti a Singapore, hanno fatto da bersagli mobili per il poligono dei pezzi giapponesi

    Più a N si tenta di chiudere in una sacca i difensori di Georgetown, stimati in circa 9000 uomini. Due divisioni di fanteria, la 40^ USA e la 6^ australiana, sono alle porte della città, mentre la 5^ divisione indiana punta dritta su Taiping, nel tentativo di chiudere l'accerchiamento. Se l'azione riesce probabilmente tra le punte delle truppe alleate che scendono da nord e Singapore non c'è più nessuna unità nemica operativa.
