    Dopo Leviathans e Synthetic Dawn, Distant Stars è il terzo Story Pack per Stellaris. Tra i due, a me sembra più simile al primo per le tematiche affrontate, quindi chi ha apprezzato Leviathans potrebbe apprezzare anche questo. Si tratta in ogni caso di uno Story Pack quindi di un DLC "minore", non una vera espansione come Utopia o Apocalypse e quindi da un certo punto di vista più facilmente "evitabile" da chi vuole risparmiare o non è interessato ai questi contenuti.

    Ecco le sue caratteristiche:
    • aggiunte molte nuove anomalie, con un incremento rispetto all'attuale di circa il 50%
    • aggiunti tre nuovi Leviatani: Voidspawn, Tiyanki Matriarch e Scavenger Bot
    • l'Enclave dei Curatori (già presente in Leviathans) comparirà anche in Distant Stars per fornire aiuto contro i nuovi Leviatani
    • aggiunti nuovi sistemi solari "unici" da esplorare con cura
    • aggiunti i misteriosi gateway L-Gates e il misterioso L-Cluster che si trova al di fuori della galassia conosciuta

    Come sempre insieme a Distant Stars è stata rilasciata anche la patch 2.1 "Niven" che in particolare apporta dei cambiamenti alla gestione delle anomalie:
    • la generazione delle galassie ora cerca di creare delle costellazioni separate da singole hyperlane per aumentare le possibilità strategiche;
    • le hyperlane non sono visibili fin dall'inizio ma vengono rivelate tramite l'esplorazione (entro un certo raggio)
    • aggiunti sistemi con stelle binarie
    • aggiunti sistemi con stelle ternarie
    • aggiunte nuove classi di stelle
    • aggiunte nuova arte per i Tomb World
    • la difficoltà della anomalie ora va da 1 a 10 (prima da 1 a 5)
    • le anomalie non possono più fallire, ma il tempo di analisi dipenderà dalla differenza tra il livello dello scienziato e quello dell'anomalia, con la possibilità di raggiungere tempi molto lunghi
    • alcune vecchie anomalie sono state rivedute e migliorate
    • aggiunto un Tab al Situation Log per tenere traccia delle anomalie scoperte ma ancora non analizzate
    • le risorse strategiche sono cambiate cosicché materiali simili abbiano lo stesso tipo di effetto (cristalli per danni alle navi, minerali per difesa delle navi, gas per effetti a livello di impero, etc.)
    • le risorse strategiche sono sempre visibili sulla mappa ma servono speciali tecnologie per estrarli
    • aggiunta nuova risorsa strategica: Cristalli di Aldar e relativa tecnologia
    • aggiunta navigazione subspaziale sperimentale solo per le navi scientifiche che permette di scomparire e raggiungere un sistema selezionato (per aggirare, ma non entrare, nei sistemi con bordi chiusi)
    • aggiunto un nuovo alert quando si stabiliscono comunicazioni con un nuovo impero che rivela nuove risorse strategiche nel loro impero
    • quando si stabiliscono comunicazioni con un nuovo impero che ha un Bypass (Gateway, Wormhole, L-Gate) ora di scopre quel tipo di Bypass
    • aggiunto un nuovo ritratto per i Mammiferi

    E per chi vuole approfondire ecco l'elenco dei Dev Diary:
    Ecco invece il changelog completo:
    #################################################################
    ######################### VERSION 2.1.0 ###########################
    #################################################################

    ###################
    # Story Pack Features
    ###################

    * Added many new Anomalies, increasing the total amount by almost 50%
    * Added new Leviathan: Voidspawn
    * Added new Leviathan: Tiyanki Matriarch
    * Added new Leviathan: Scavenger Bot
    * Curator Enclaves will now also spawn for Distant Stars owners, to help with the new Leviathans
    * Added new unique systems to explore
    * Added L-Gates and the mysterious L-Cluster outside the known galaxy, which you will have to investigate and research to access

    ###################
    # Free Features
    ###################

    * Galaxy generation has been reworked for more interesting hyperlane terrain: stars are now grouped in highly connected 'constellations' separated by thin 'highways', making for more strategic placement of natural chokepoints
    * All hyperlanes are no longer immediately visible when starting a new game, but will be revealed through exploration. Hyperlane visibility extends roughly twice as far as your sensor range
    * Added binary star systems
    * Added trinary star systems
    * Added new star classes
    * Added new Tomb World tileset and city backdrop art
    * Anomaly levels have been reworked to span levels 1-10 instead of 1-5
    * Anomalies can no longer fail, but instead the time to research an anomaly will depend on the difference between scientist level and anomaly level, with high level anomalies potentially taking a very long time to research for a low skill scientist
    * Some older Anomalies have been reworked and fixed to function properly
    * Strategic Resources have been reworked so that similar materials have the same types of effects - crystals for ship damage, ores for ship defenses, gas for empire effects, etc.
    * All Strategic Resources are now always visible, but most require specific Technologies to be mined
    * Strategic Resource deposits are no longer distributed according to galaxy clusters
    * Added new Aldar Crystals Strategic Resource
    * Added Aldar Crystals tech
    * Added Experimental Subspace Nagivation which allows science ships to go missing-in-action and travel to a selected system. This will allow them to bypass (but not enter) closed borders
    * Added a new Alert for when establishing communications reveals a new Strategic Resource within another Empire's borders
    * Establishing communications with another Empire that has a Bypass (Gateway, Wormhole, L-Gate) within its borders now counts as discovering that Bypass Type

    ###################
    # Balance
    ###################

    * Survey speed increase per Scientist level increased from 5% per level to 10% per level
    * Most scientist level requirements for Special Projects have been removed, as they tend to be gated by anomalies anyway
    * Decreased outer boundary distance for Fallen Empires (was preventing more Fallen Empires from spawning in large galaxies)
    * Zro Distillation is now a Tier 3 tech (down from 4)
    * Rebalanced Strategic Resource tech tiers to better fit their effects

    ###################
    # UI
    ###################

    * Situation Log has been reworked and will now also list anomalies
    * Science ships now have a "Research Anomalies in System" right-click command on systems
    * Renamed tile science modifiers from e.g. "Physics Output" to "Tile Physics Output" to better reflect what the modifiers actually do
    * Scientist level is now shown in the outliner

    ###################
    # AI
    ###################

    * AI will retreat its Colossus if it is alone in combat, as even a planet destroying giant laser is cold comfort in the lonely depths of space
    * Fixed an issue where the AI would incorrectly allocate too much budget to navies when it could not support any more ships, resulting in underdeveloped empires

    ###################
    # Modding
    ###################

    * Scripted variables rework: centralized all @values in \common\scripted_variables folder
    * Scripted variables rework: centralized @values can be overridden by @values defined in individual files
    * Anomaly rework: combined _anomaly_categories and _anomalies files into one file
    * Anomaly rework: added "anomaly_event" effect with expected scopes for use in anomaly categories
    * Anomaly rework: added a number of new features and updated syntax
    * Added "exclusive_trigger" functionality to event descriptions
    * Added "last_changed_species_rights_type" trigger
    * Added "fleet_action_research_special_project" effect
    * Added "remove_orbital_deposit" effect that removes the orbital deposit on planet
    * Added picture parameter for set_planet_entity effect
    * Added support for multiple asteroid belt types
    * Added "create_saved_leader" effect
    * Hyperlane Discovery Range is now separate from Sensor Range, and can be modded for ships, planets, megastructure, etc.
    * Added "is_bottleneck_system" trigger
    * Added scriptable bypass connections
    * Added "delete_megastructure" effect
    * Added HIDE_HYPERLANES_OUTSIDE_TERRA_INCOGNITA define to hide hyperlanes outside TI
    * Added "add_tradition" effect
    * Added support for sealed_wormholes as a bypass type for wormholes
    * Added the ability to specify colonizer pop species when spawning a colony ship via create_ship
    * Added a batch optimization effect for spawn_system

    ###################
    # Bugfixes
    ###################

    * Fixed issues with the pulsar Marauder system initializer
    * Fixed edge case where Marauders would sometimes demand more tribute than they should
    * Fixed a number of minor syntax issues (shoutouts to Dayshine)
    * Pop production modifier no longer affect strategic resources
    * Fixed more potential out-of-sync issues in multiplayer
    * Fixed stability issue when a selected situation log entry is removed

    * Fixing the set location effect having a wrong angle for fleet position
    * Withdrawal symptoms are no longer reset when changing species rights
    * Bugfix for when deleted bypasses were not removed
    * Fixed issue where the Strategic Resource tutorial mission could trigger for resources located inside other empires, because envy is the darkest emotion
    * Fixed an effect attempting to link up already-linked wormholes (which would crash the game)
    * Fixed issue where tutorial missions could sometimes trigger for Gestalt Consciousness empires, who really should know all this instinctively already
    * Fixed issue where Remove Orbital Debris special project did not require a Science Ship
    * Fixed Occupation tooltip always displaying 0 planets being occupied
    * Planet picture override should now apply correctly
    * Fixing the issue when context effect used in hidden effect caused assert
    * Fixed more potential text overflows in Federation view
    * Habitats no longer double dip on orbital deposits
    * First Contact tutorial mission will no longer trigger when encountering primitives
    * Fixed anomaly tooltips sometimes displaying incorrect value types
    * Fixed issue where gateways were sometimes weirdly initialized, causing first gate activation to not activate a second gate
    * Made it impossible to start building pops that cannot grow and will be removed next monthly tick anyway
    * Starbase occupation now counted even if there are no occupiable planets in the system
    * Fixed OOS on hot join due to fleet auto-moving
    * Fixed CTD for survey console command in case of player is invalid
    * Fixed erroneous tooltip in "Leviathan Down" anomaly
    * Disabled the upgrade button of starbase defense stations when you can't afford to upgrade them

    * Fallen empires will now avoid spawning at the edges of the galaxy
    * In case a starbase is lost in a save game it will be restored
    * Fixed the bug when jump drive didn't call the notification for entering the system
    * Blocked the ability to pick a non-mergeable fleet for deploying newly built ships to prevent an exploit with fleets lacking a size limit
    * Fixing the bug when it was possible to load save game in an ironman game, and the attendant confusion
    * Planet having sapient pops during colonization no longer messes up interface and other things
    * Fixed ironman UI being broken in setup GUI
    * Made debris try to pick earlier tech available for research rather than having latest one
    * Event ships can now be removed from fleet designs when they have been destroyed

    Dev Diary #116 - Niven Post-Launch Support
    In questo breve Dev Diary si parla del futuro a breve termine di Stellaris. Dopo il rilascio di Distant Stars e della patch 2.1 Niven, è iniziato un esteso periodo di supporto post-lancio dove ci si aspetta una successione di beta patch nelle prossime settimane, come già successo dopo il rilascio della 2.0. Questo permetterà non solo di risolvere eventuali problemi relativi alla 2.1, ma anche di risolvere vecchi bug e aggiungere piccoli miglioramenti QoL. La prima beta patch dovrebbe uscire settimana prossima per risolvere alcuni problemi prioritari.

    Per questo motivo nel breve futuro non ci saranno Dev Diary di nuove feature ma solo aggiornamenti settimanli sulle beta patch ed eventuali piccole aggiunte. I Dev Diary di sviluppo vero e proprio riprenderanno durante l'estate quando saranno pronti a parlare della prossima grossa espansione.

    Per finire e per dare un esempio di "piccoli miglioramenti", la prossima beta patch dovrebbe avere una meccanica di "vittoria limitata" per le guerre di Soggiogazione e le guerre Ideologiche.

    Qualcuno ha provato a fare una partita dopo l'ultima patch?

    Io ho iniziato una campagna, ma ho uno spam continuo di pirati da flotte di 2k (Io ho appena scoperto le Cruisers), che non faccio in tempo a mandarci una mia flotta che mi hanno devastato mezzo Impero...

    Questa cosa inizia un po' a stancarmi, ok i pirati ci possono stare (che poi vorrei vedere come riescono a mettere insieme una flotta di 2k, ma vabbè), ma ora inizia ad essere ingestibile: appena ricostruisco tutte le stazioni nei vari settori riappaiono sti qua che mi devastano di nuovo tutto...

    Così è improponibile pensare di attaccare un altro Impero...

    Succede anche a voi? :mad::mad::mad:

    Certo e infatti ho una mia strategia.
    Costruisco per costellazioni:
    1- conquista una costellazione, costruendo outpost nei sistemi chiave
    2- nei sistemi chiave (quelli d'accesso alla costellazione) vi costruisco dei forti (semmai vi lascio anche la flotta)
    3- completo la conquista della costellazione distruggendo stazioni pirata e costruendo i miei outpost
    4- a questo punto i pirati possono nascere solo oltre al forte che ho costruito
    5- costruisco le miniere dentro alla costellazione sicura, mentre nelle altre costellazioni non ancora sicure mi limito a conquistare i sistemi chiave e a costruire forti nei punti giusti
    6- ripetere da capo

    Certo i pirati sono odiosi, ma tengono viva l'attenzione. Inoltre, possono essere un motivo di guerra: se ti distruggono la flotta, sei un piatto ghiotto per il vicino.

    Ho appena ricomiciato ma di pirati ne ho vista solo una flotta per ora, minore della mia, non è neppure riuscita a crearmi problemi prima che la spazzassi via.

    Ho notato in questa nuova partita che quando scopri la amebe spaziali e le forme cristalline puoi avviar euan ricerca per conviverci pacificamente, non mi ricordo ci fosse prima, lo provata ed è bellissima diventano tuoi amici e puoi creare avanpaosti ed addirittura colonizzare paineti nei sistemi dove stanno loro.

    Sarebbe interessante se in futuro aggiungessero la possibilità di trattare con i pirati, magari pagandoli per lasciarti in pace, sarebbe utile se vuoi che infastidiscano un vicino durante un conflitto.

    Delle nuove interazioni con i pirati sarebbero gradite.

    Al momento, il fastidio è che i pirati compaiono in dei sistemi random appena fuori dai tuoi confini e spesso tali sistemi si trovano lontano da dove sono ammassate le tue flotte.
    Nella mia partita, ad esempio, ho radunato tutte le mie navi sul confine con un impero rivale in previsione di un futuro attacco; dei pirati (fortunatamente non troppo forti) sono comparsi dal lato opposto della galassia e hanno distrutto tutte le miniere in un sistema che controllavo. Ho dovuto mobilitare una flotta una flotta appositamente per distruggerli: il problema è che le flotte ci mettono mesi per attraversare i vari sistemi e, tra andata e ritorno, finisco per perdere troppo tempo e lasciare sguarnito il confine.

    Si quello che dicevo anchio... Credo che l'unica sia fare come ha suggerito @SkySpace, nel post sopra, ovvero costruire dei forti nei punti chiave dell'impero ed eventualmente supportarla da una piccola flotta.

    Sto facendo così e mi sembra che i pirati si siano un po' calmati...:approved:

    Dev Diary #117 - Niven Post-Launch Support (part 2)
    Si prosegue con i DD relativi al supporto post-lancio della patch 2.1 Niven

    Varietà e bilanciamento del L-Cluster

    Secondo il feedback dei giocatori, gli L-Cluster positivi sono un po' deludenti. In futuro quindi si cercherà di aggiungere più dettagli e più risultati diversi. Prima di quello però ci si concentrerà sul bilanciamento e su alcuni problemi relativi all'IA con alcuni tipi di L-Cluster, anche perché l'aggiunta di nuovi contenuti richiederà tempo dato che si è scelto di investire un po' di risorse nel migliorare questo aspetto.

    Performance
    Pare che per alcuni le perforamance della 2.1 siano peggiori rispetto alla 2.0. Per il momento si sta ancora lavorando all'identificazione del problema, a cui è stata assegnata la massima priorità.

    Per finire, una piccola nuova feature per i modders: nel dare un nome agli oggeti (come una nuova flotta) si potrà usare uno scope quindi per esempio creare una nave con il nome di un leader o rinominare un pianeta con il nome della specie che vi abita.

    Stellaris Dev Diary #119 - Niven Post-Launch Support (part 4)
    In questo DD si dice che, dopo il rilascio ufficiale della patch 2.1.1, sarà a breve disponibile la patch 2.1.2 come beta patch su Steam. Si prevede che la 2.1.2 rimanga in beta per il periodo estivo e venga rilasciata ufficialmente al ritorno dalle vacanze.

    Rivendicazioni nella mappa Diplomatica
    Con la patch 2.1.2 sarà possibile vedere le rivendicazioni ("claim") di un impero selezionandolo sulla mappa diplomatica. Questa funzionalità sarà inoltre customizzabile dai modders.

    Generazione Creature Spaziali/Fallen Empire
    Con la prossima patch si cercherà di migliorare la generazione di Creature Spaziali e Fallen Empire in galassie densamente popolate. Al momento l'algoritmo cerca di evitare di circondare completamente i giocatori da Leviatani e FE ostili, ma nel caso di molti giocatori presenti sulla mappa questo riduceva drasticamente il loro numero. La prossima patch cercherà di risolvere il problema.

    Miglioramenti al L-Cluster
    Come già detto, si sta lavorando a miglioramenti ed espansioni del L-Cluster. Questi non verranno rilasciati subito ma in ogni caso nnel corso della beta della patch 2.1.2.

    Per finire, dato che in Svezia si va tutti in vacanza in massa a Luglio, i Dev Diary verranno sospesi fino al 9 Agosto, anche se è possibile qualche aggiornamento sporadico in questo periodo. Al ritorno si dovrebbe inoltre iniziare a parlare dei prossimi cambiamenti sostanziali per Stellaris.

    É stata rilasciata la patch 2.1.3 con il seguente changelog:
    Inoltre c'è un aggiornamento gratuito di 2 DLC recenti, lo Humanoids Species Pack e il Distant Stars Story Pack.

    Grazie alla collaborazione con un modder, Silfae, è stata aggiunta una nuova opzione di personalizzazione per lo Humanoids Species Pack: nuove capigliature, nuove barbe e nuovi colori sono stati aggiunti a molti fenotipi. Ecco alcuni esempi:

    Inoltre sono stati aggiunti nuovi vestiti per alcuni fenotipi:

    Queste e altre aggiunte sono gratuite per tutti i possessori, attuali e futuri, dello Humanoids Species Pack. Inoltre tali aggiunte sono presenti anche negli Umanoidi del gioco base, quindi per tutti i giocatori.

    Per quanto riguarda il Distant Stars Story Pack, è stato aggiunto del nuovo contenuto con lo scopo di arricchire molte delle anomalie e degli eventi del DLC, soprattutto quelli relativi al L-Cluster. Per non rovinare la sorpresa non ci saranno anticipazioni, ma si spera che i giocatori apprezzeranno. Il nuovo contenuto è disponibile per tutti i possessori, attuali e futuri, di Distant Stars.

    Questo dovrebbe aiutare a passare il tempo in attesa della patch 2.2 Le Guin. :)
