Ciao, in questo AAR, reporterò solo una porzione della mia grande campagna con gli alleati. L'operazione per la conquista dell'isola di Hokkaido. Hokkaido's fall E' il Gennaio del 1943 e la reconquista del pacifico procede un pò a rilento, tuttavia nutro da ormai da 5 mesi (nel gioco) l'idea di mettere in atto questa operazione che se avrà successo, taglierà le gambe ai Giapponesi. La situazione nel Nord del Pacifico è questa: sono mesi che porto supplies e unità del genio a Dutch harbor che è il porto principale dell'operazione (livello 6 non più espandibile) più a ovest c'è Attu Island che possiede un aereoporto di livello 6 con 5 formazioni di B-17 che stanno martellando Paramushiro - Jima. L'operazione sarà divisa in 3 fasi: 1) Prima fase la conquesta dell'isola di Paramushiro - Jima in modo da fare avanzare bombardieri e caccia. 2) Secondo fase è la conquista delle Sakhalin, dove sono presenti diversi pozzi petroliferi. 3) Terza e principale obiettivo, l'invasione dell'isola di Hokkaido. FORZE IN CAMPO: Per la prima fase dell'operazione, userò 3 piccole unità dei marines (1°,2°,3° marine raider battalion) e una unità di artiglieria da campo, imbarcate come nelle immagini. Inoltre userò per la prima volta le LCI, piccole unità per lo sbarco anfibio. Una unità di base force dell'esercito, sta arrivando da Seattle. inoltre ad Attu island è presente da mesi una piccola squadra di 6 sottomarini del tipo che vedete nell'immagine (quelli senza i siluri difettosi) che hanno operato nell'area di sapporo, affondando AO, TK e mercantili vari diretti nelle Sakhalin. Ovviamente non intendo invadere Sapporo con 3 minuscole unità dei marines , nei prossimi post vi aggiornerò sulle formazioni navali in arrivo (CV, BB etc.) e tutte le unità di terra e aria che intendo impiegare per questa imponente operazione.
Gioco contro l'IA (va bè non prendete per il culo ) 25 Gennaio 1943 Il comando dell'operazione è stato affidato all'HQ North Pacific Command con sede a Dutch Harbor. Da Washington fanno sapere che non più di 6 portaerei saranno disponibili per quella che è stata definita la più importante operazione militare di tutta la guerra. Tuttavia c'è da considerare che 2 CV sono precedentemente affondate in Australia, quindi il tipo di queste 6 portaerei è ancora sconosciuto. Intanto oggi da segnalare l'affondamento di un'AK nel golfo di Hokkaido ad opera dell'SS Saury, uno dei 2 sottomarini presenti ad Attu Island a montare i famigerati MK14, siluri il cui tasso di fallimento è stato constatato in 3/4. nel frattempo la TF179 composta dai CM Terror e Keokuk, completa la sua missione, posando 150 mine a Paramushiro - Jima, mentre i B-17 non si alzano causa neve .

AAR interessante. Solo una domanda: non hai scelto un periodo sbagliato per un'offensiva in questo settore? Gennaio a ridosso della zona artica, i tuoi uomini sofriranno molto una volta sbarcati.
Si hai ragione, ma ormai mi sono lanciato. Comunque passerà ancora 1 mese almeno prima di provare ad invadere Hokkaido e nel frattempo il maltempo potrebbe tornarmi utile in caso di attacco aereo nemico mentre occupo i primi 2 obiettivi.

Una TF da bombardamento composta da 2 corazzate, 2 incrociatori pesanti 3 CL e 7 DD per ammorbidire le difese costiere. 2 TF da combattimento aereo composte da una CV e una CVE ciascuna, che avranno un ruolo prevalentemente di copertura contro i prevedibili raid aerei Giapponesi; non escludo comunque di effettuare Ground attacks con i Dunteless. Infine da segnalare l'avvistamento della KB a Guadalcanal, dove è in corso uno scontro terrestre gigantesco, quindi questo sarebbe un momento buono per avviare l'operazione.

Non sò, hanno perso e stanno perdendo molti aerei durante tutta la campagna, credo che qualcosa farà quando mi avvicinerò alle Sakhalin, sperando che non inviino la KB.
